just read this in the news:
A study out of Singapore has found a link between drinking sugared soft drinks and pancreatic cancer. The study was led by the University of Minnesota, which followed some 60,000 people in Singapore for 14 years.
According to a new article in the Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention journal, American researchers found that if a person has more than two soft drinks a week, he will have an 87 per cent higher chance of getting pancreatic cancer.
In this particular study, the theory is that sugar may increase pancreatic cancer cells.
