FINALLY finally finally,
we've managed to celebrate Douglas' SUPER belated birthday 2 tuesdays ago,
its been almost 2 months since his birthday. woots.
oh yes, thank you for the dinner one more time!
this time we visited... KEPPEL's BAY!
a restaurant too cool for me. lols.
the place, i must say, is amazing.
its fine dining for goodness' sake!
what more could we expect!
it did feel awkward initially as all of us haven't been to a restaurant that posh before.
too bad we had an indoor table, as the view outside was great.
the food wasnt that bad.
but it took rather LONG for them to be served.
a VERY LONGGGGGGGGGG time.
our table was ridiculously quiet,
relative to the other tables.
all laughing heartily.
chatting like they were all drunk.
i guess they WERE TIPSY.
i guess they WERE TIPSY.
haha, they had wine!
BUT we had iced water, beat that!
i told the table to laugh to pretend like we were having a super interesting and funny conversation.
so as to not feel so left out. lol
so while waiting....
we camwhored and presented Marcus and Douglas their BIRTHDAY CARDs.
wooooooooooo.
FINALLY THE FOOD ARRIVED.
wah i thought "so happy, can eat in a posh restaurant"
but end up made me so grumpy cos i was eff-ing hungry.
After which, we headed to the Prive Bakery (next door) for desserts!
Marcus and Douglas got to blow their birthday cakes again!
and yes mayhwee had a polaroid camera which she borrowed from her kind friend!

i swear the flashes from the cameras were a public nuisance to the other diners.
at the bakery side, the service was lousy.
very slow and forgetful staff.
and one of them do not even know the standard procedure for taking photos.
no '1, 2, 3', no 'say cheese'
NOTHING.
the moment he got the camera, he took a photo.
without us being prepared!
one polaroid each.
memories memories memories.
the atmosphere was something new.
it wasnt exactly breathtaking or awe-inpsiring, but it sure was a 'WOW' moment when we arrived.
marvelous time spent!
